The Jordanian Community in the UK confirms that it will launch projects, initiatives and services aimed at promoting the welfare of community members and supporting its partners and affiliated groups.
These will include:
- Cultural Events Activities and celebrations that promote Jordanian identity and bring members of the community together in a positive social environment.
- Arabic Language Classes Educational programmes for children and young people aimed at preserving the Arabic language and strengthening their connection with their cultural heritage.
- Youth Programmes Initiatives designed to support Jordanian young people in education, skills development and social integration.
- Women’s Empowerment Groups Safe spaces and development programmes aimed at supporting and empowering Jordanian women in the United Kingdom.
- Community Support Services Advice, guidance and assistance for families and newly arrived community members in matters relating to housing, education, healthcare and employment.
- Social Gatherings Regular gatherings aimed at strengthening relationships among members of the Jordanian community across different cities in the United Kingdom.
- Professional Networks Platforms that enable Jordanian professionals to connect, exchange expertise and create opportunities for cooperation and collaboration.
- These initiatives will be introduced gradually following the election of the Board of Directors. They will be open to members of the community, partners and affiliated groups.
